SwellPro Fisherman FD3 WaterProof Fishing Drone

The sequencing and propmptness of powering the unit up got a bit of getting use to but,....our first day with the drone was epic! It has already paid for itself.

Fist time using a drown and already fill like a pro really easy to control money well spent

My recomendation would be to increase the Remote controller protection against water, we are regularly under sea and moisture environment, so it would help very much its lifetime,

This is my 1st drone. I wanted one to get my bait past the southern NJ sandbars. I’ve had the drone out 3x’s with 15 bait drops. As a first time owner this drone is very easy to use with very little practice. My only bit of advice is to make sure that you drone rig set up is at least 15 feet long so there is no risk of line getting tangled up in the drone. Very happy with my fishing drone!

Honestly I was not initially happy because I could not get the product to fly at first. The videos I watched and Literature I read was not clear about having to use the app for the initial takeoff. Once i figured this out the drone worked flawless. I had about 10 people come ask me about the drone on the secluded beach where I was fishing. On our last piece of bait I went for a small shark amd we caught this close to 5 foot Atlantic Sharpnose. Very happy with the product. I wish I would have bought the extra battery. I will be adding that to my list before my next trip.

We shark fish on the shores of Pawleys Island South Carolina and previously used a kayak to drop bait. We're now able to get 5 lines in the water, 100-300 yards in under 10 minutes on 1 battery. Great drone. It took a bit to figure out how to turn it on correctly, but it was flawless after. We caught a 7' bull shark

I have flown the FD3 several times and it is very responsive to the controller. I have made some videos and they are very clear and stable. Flies very well and the batteries really last. It is a very good product. I haven't flown it at the beach yet but will soon.

Very good product , well made and easy to operate. Glad I got the advanced model with extra props and 2 batteries. Total 3 batteries came with drone, charger charges fast and you can adjust how many amps you are charging at, it does controller and batteries. The only draw back is the user manual. Some of the features are vaguely explained or not at all like the power button and the search button on the side of the display or how to replace the barometric membrane. Also it does not explain how to secure the swellpro logo plate over the barometric membrane, mine will.not lock down.There are a few other things but overall it's a great product for all kinds of applications, not just fishing. I will give an update after actually surf fishing with it and how well swell pro treats me if I have to make a warranty claim. So far swellpro support reps responded to my questions/emails within 24 to 36 hours. I Definitely think Swellpro should include a quick start laminated card to help first time users quickly get the FD3 opreratuonal without reading the entire manual. I'm very happy so far!
