SwellPro Fisherman MAX (FD2) Heavy Lift Fishing Drone

This is the second drone I have purchased fist was a test and worked great but wanted to be able to carry heavy baits deep and this one lives up to the challenge. If you want big fish use big bait and this drone gets the job done!

I recently purchased a Swellpro FD2 and I have all ready used it several times for night shark fishing works perfectly. I dropped Bonita and horse mullet out 500+ yards . Today I am taking amazing shots of our home and property. A+++

Flew it on my back porch to get some practice returned to home and it landed but didn’t shut off, i tried to turn it off with the remotes but it went batshit crazy and messed up my brand new props as well as Chopped up my trash cans

Awesome drone best investment

I thought they had left out the battery charger but it was actually hidden under some styrofoam, under the drone itself. So far I have taken this drone to the beach and played around with its ability to carry weight in the wind. It has performed phenomenal so far. It can easily carry its max payload of 8lbs and probably more than that. I flew a 7lb stingray with multiple lead sinkers over 800m in very strong wind and the drone did not even struggle a little bit. Some pieces of advice I would give to anyone that is getting this drone is to charge the batteries and remote controller right when you get them because the voltage will be low. The voltage cannot drop below a certain number (it self discharges over time) or it will cause permanent damage to the battery. With a full charge it takes 3-4 months for it to need a recharge. Cannot emphasize how much of a beast this drone is in terms of handling the wind and carrying a ton of weight. The two drop payload system on the drone also allows for some cool abilities. In terms of downsides, the app isn’t the best but I think they are making improvements. Also I have been having some consistent interference when flying the drone in certain places, switching bands and channels really helps the video connection but I think upgrading the antenna’s on the controller and/or drone might be the best bet.

Fish pro Max is a beast of a drone. All around great drone!!
