This is a great drone. I never had a drone or any kind of remote control anything before. This drone was so easy to fly love it.
The drone is great, easy to use and great for fishing. The bad thing is the camera, when the drone is more than 20m away, there is no image transmission at all.
Away on holiday, haven’t unpacked the drone yet!
I thought they had left out the battery charger but it was actually hidden under some styrofoam, under the drone itself. So far I have taken this drone to the beach and played around with its ability to carry weight in the wind. It has performed phenomenal so far. It can easily carry its max payload of 8lbs and probably more than that. I flew a 7lb stingray with multiple lead sinkers over 800m in very strong wind and the drone did not even struggle a little bit. Some pieces of advice I would give to anyone that is getting this drone is to charge the batteries and remote controller right when you get them because the voltage will be low. The voltage cannot drop below a certain number (it self discharges over time) or it will cause permanent damage to the battery. With a full charge it takes 3-4 months for it to need a recharge. Cannot emphasize how much of a beast this drone is in terms of handling the wind and carrying a ton of weight. The two drop payload system on the drone also allows for some cool abilities. In terms of downsides, the app isn’t the best but I think they are making improvements. Also I have been having some consistent interference when flying the drone in certain places, switching bands and channels really helps the video connection but I think upgrading the antenna’s on the controller and/or drone might be the best bet.
Hello, the balance charger be packed under the drone body.
After taking out the aircraft main unit, there is a module at the bottom that needs to be removed to see the charger. Check again whether the module has been removed.
Everything is great besides the payload release not working and customer service to speak to someone .
I ordered an extra battery so I could fly longer. My 1st battery has never been able to recharge. Apparently it got too low, something that would have been nice to know as these batteries are very expensive. So I got one use out of a brand new battery. Thanks!
